Hanging the footrest
6. Put the end of the rope attached to the footrest through the smaller S hook remaining. Tie an OVERHEAD KNOT and insert that S hook into the same Eyebolt as the chair. Adjust the overhead knot so that the height of the footrest is just below the bottom of the seat of the chair. Adjust that OVERHEAD KNOT to Raise or lower footrest to desired comfort.

To further enhance the comfort , adjusting the side knots. (See main diagram for location of side knots) Adjust BOTH side knots forward or back in equal lengths. To check equal lengths, take the overhead dowel out, see that the arm dowels are at the same angle.
Angle the chair forward for reading. Angle the chair back for a reclining positions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
AIRCHAIR Recommends no more than 350 pounds on the chair, because of the metal hardware and wood limitations.
The screw eye must be screwed completely into a predrilled 5/16" hole. The beam MUST be a solid straight grained structural joist.
This chair is made from 600 Denier Nylon. It can withstand long periods of exposure to the sun, but will fade over time.
DO NOT SPIN in the chair or footrest, as the screw eyehole may loosen with extended spinning. Excessive swinging may also cause the eyebolt to loosen and fail!
The manufacturer & distributors of AirChair cannot assume any responsibility, special, indirect, or consequetial damages, or contingent liability for use of this product in a manner not expressly intended by the manufacturer.
End consumer is ultimately responsible for verifying proper installation of eyebolt according to our guidelines explained herewithin.
We strongly recommend that you adhere to our maximum 15 inch above floor chair height recommendation.
